Terms of Service

Expired September signup special: new accounts created from September 22, 2026 at 10 p.m. Eastern until September 29, 2026 at 10 p.m. Eastern receive 30 days free from account creation, under the offer terms in effect at signup. No credit card is required and there is no automatic charge. Confirm your email to complete setup. Includes 5 machines, 5 employee accounts and 30 FieldGuide replies total. Cancel the free period in Account settings; paid subscriptions are managed separately in Billing.

These Terms govern your access to and use of SteadyIron. By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use SteadyIron for a business, you represent that you may accept these Terms for that business.

Free trial

New business workspaces receive one standard 7-day free trial with 5 machines, 5 employee accounts, and 30 FieldGuide replies shared across the entire trial. No payment card is required. The trial begins when the workspace is created. The 7-day duration applies to new workspaces created from October 10, 2026 onward; existing trials keep their previously recorded expiration dates. At expiry, editing and FieldGuide requests stop; saved records remain readable and are retained for at least 30 additional days. Purchasing a subscription starts paid billing and continues the same workspace. Creating another workspace does not restart an existing trial.

1. The service

SteadyIron provides equipment, maintenance, work-order, inventory, crew-operations, and troubleshooting tools. You are responsible for your equipment, work decisions, records, and compliance with applicable laws and workplace requirements.

2. Safety and FieldGuide

FieldGuide provides informational assistance and may be incomplete or incorrect. It does not replace manufacturer instructions, safety procedures, inspections, professional judgment, or a qualified technician. Stop work and follow appropriate safety procedures whenever equipment may be unsafe.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep access to your email secure, and promptly remove access for people who should no longer use your workspace. You are responsible for activity under your account and for content submitted by your business and crew.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and billed in advance on the monthly or annual interval you choose. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize SteadyIron and its payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fees and taxes. Plan limits and included FieldGuide usage are shown at purchase and may be enforced across the business workspace.

Fall 2026 pricing special

New paid subscribers who start subscription checkout from October 10 through October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern receive 20% off the first 12 months on a monthly plan, or 20% off the first annual payment. The discount is applied automatically to Starter, Crew, and Operations subscriptions. Monthly promotional prices are $23.20, $119.20, and $239.20 respectively; first annual payments are $232, $1,192, and $2,392. After the promotional period, subscriptions renew at the regular published price: $29, $149, or $299 per month, or $290, $1,490, or $2,990 annually, until canceled. Prices are in USD before any applicable taxes. Existing or previously paid subscriptions are not eligible. Add-on purchases are excluded. Starting a free trial does not reserve this offer; a paid checkout must be started before the deadline and completed before that checkout session expires (within one hour). Choosing a paid plan starts billing immediately, even if free trial days remain. Canceling and resubscribing does not restart the offer.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel through the subscription-management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues until then. Fees already paid are nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or malicious material, violate another person’s rights, or use the service to build or train a competing product through automated extraction.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant SteadyIron permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service and meet legal obligations. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it.

8. Service changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may revise these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service or other reasonable means. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteadyIron will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption. SteadyIron’s total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
